Start with the entry questions, not the online form. Download the Word document for your category, draft your answers with your team, back every claim with evidence, then copy your finished answers into the online entry form before 20 November 2026. The Holiday Park Awards are free to enter and independently judged, and every category is scored out of 100, so a clear, well-evidenced entry gives your work the best chance of the recognition it deserves.
Choose the right category
There are categories for parks and groups, holiday home ownership and sales, people and teams, and suppliers. Read the short description of each on the award categories page and choose the one where your strongest story fits.
A park built around families might suit Family Holiday Park of the Year. A manager who has lifted a whole team might suit Leader of the Year. A colleague early in their career who is already making a difference might suit the Rising Star Award.
You can enter more than one category, but each one needs its own online entry form. Check the eligibility requirements for every category before you start.
Draft your answers in the Word document first
Each category has a downloadable Word document containing every question from the official entry form, along with the score available for each section. Drafting there first gives you time to gather facts, involve colleagues and review your answers properly before you submit.
One thing to remember: completing the Word document does not submit your entry. Your entry is only received once the online form has been completed and submitted, and you will receive an email confirmation when it has gone through.
Answer the question that is asked
The judges score each answer against the question, so read every question carefully, including the score available and any word limit. Question counts and word limits vary by category, so check the guide for yours.
A few habits make answers easier to score:
Lead with the result, then explain how you achieved it.
Use specific examples and measurable results rather than general statements.
Keep within the word limit. Concise, specific answers are easier to score than long, general ones.
Write for someone who has never visited your park or met your team.
Back it up with evidence
Each entry can include up to 10 evidence items and one video of up to three minutes. Choose evidence that proves what your answers say: guest feedback and review scores, survey results, photographs, examples of guest or owner communications, or figures you are comfortable sharing.
A short video is a good way to show your park, facilities or team in action. Keep it focused on the category you are entering.
Before you submit, make sure you have permission to share any information, documents or photographs included in your entry.
Plan your time before 20 November
Entries close 20 November 2026. Working back from that date:
Choose your categories and download the entry questions.
Agree who is writing each answer and who is gathering evidence.
Draft your answers, then check each one against its score and word limit.
Ask someone who was not involved to read the entry with fresh eyes.
Copy your answers into the online form, upload your evidence, submit, and look out for your confirmation email.
What happens after you enter
Judging runs from December 2026 to the end of January 2027, with Finalists announced in February 2027. Winners will be revealed at the awards night on 22 April 2027 at Sandy Park, Exeter. You can meet the judges on our website.
